F18 German Nats 2022: Bader-Bjomholt 1st

Win for Cedric Bader & Nicolaj Bjomholt (Nacra Evo) , tied in points with Mitch & Jordi Booth (Scorpion/1D), 3 bullets defined the deal for the overall winners.

Competitive regatta for the 2022 German Nats, with the top favorites racing for the lead along top European crews. In the end Bader & Bhjomholt prevailed over Booth-Booth , Parent-Gramm (Nacra Evo), the Argies (Scorpion/1D), Aussies (Many with Edge/NextGen) and Finish Norregaard-Jarvinen (Scorpion/ 1D) in 3rd overall.

These same crews will fight for the Europeans next week. Bader won past 2021 German Nats edition at Garda too before going to Gaeta Worlds, so its a place he knows well.

Looking results in detail you will see how Burvill-Puttman (Edge-NextGen) won 2 today and a 5th, but a DNC and UFD relegated them to 5th overall, also the Argies scored 2nd&4th, 2nd&3rd each showing good pace for next week.

Even Parent-Gramm were left out of the podium, 4th overall for them after 6, 7 & 14 for the day, showing how tight the Europeans will be.

Another aspect is how all platforms are competitive right now, preparing an excellent ground for next week regattas.
