(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 22 – The Italian men's epee team won the gold medal in the European championships at Antalya in Turkey Wednesday.
Davide Di Veroli, Gabriele Cimini and Andrea Santarelli beat Israel 45-32 in the final.
Italy had not won men's team epee gold at the Euros since 1999.
