American Cruise Lines cancels Alaska sailing due to Covid cases

American Cruise Lines' American Constellation ship has canceled its next Alaska cruise after three people tested positive for Covid-19.

The ship departed on a 10-night cruise from Juneau, Alaska on July 4 but the trip was cut short Saturday after two fully vaccinated guests and one unvaccinated crew member tested positive.

The ship's next sailing on 14 July was scrapped 'out of an abundance of caution.'

It was the small ship line's first Covid-related incident since it resumed sailing in March 2021.
